Who are the top Div. I kids? Who is the best pound for pound?

We have wrestled a kid by the name of Pratt from Blanchard, that kid is as tough as he is strong, haven't seen alot of technique but thats cause they dont go that long

Div I- 46 lbs

He is a great wrestler and doing very well in Div II 46 lbs.

#1 Colt Newton Carl Albert #2 Cade Waltman Fort Gibson, these are the best pound for pound hands down.

division 1 37 lb Brayden early. has only lost on match this year, won the hartland open, beating husanie wich took 3rd last year at usjoc, and most of his matches have been won in the first round with a pin in less then 10 sec, and is only getting better!!!

That Is Plott from Blanchard. He's wrestling 55lbs. Thanks for the compliment wrestlefreak.

Ive seen a lot of 37 pounders this year and am impressed..lot of good ones

Plott is a tough little wrestler, and probably one of the top Div. I kids around but he is not in the same class as Newton or Waltman. From watching them all and looking at results. Newton and Waltman have beaten the top Div. II kids. I see Plott has entered some at Div. II and has not beaten the top kids. We are talking about the best pound for pound.

Hussaini must of had a bad day at the heartland tournament because the top three wrestler at 37lbs is

I agree with the above post. The Best that I have seen in Div. I is Waltman outstanding wrestler at Cliff Kneen Kickoff and has placed in every national tournament for the last two years and Newton who I have not seen wrestle has a win over him. These kids are both studs in Div.II

I dont agree with your top 3 37 pounders..maybe hussaini, but not the others..there good, but not the best..

disagree...Stevens, Husssaini and Hill are all good..prob the top 3 but i think you may need to throw b. early in there..those 4 are tough

There is also a kid @ Div 1 49 lbs Josh Parks (Blanchard) Tough Kid also been wrestling a little in Div 2 and doing well

any big tournys this weekend that ought to be pretty good?

[b]Stephens pinned Hill in the 3rd place match at Kickoff while up 11-2. He won the challenge back for 2nd by pinning the CO kid in the 1st period. He lost in OT in the Semis to a KS kid from Boos'. Also, Stephens won this weekend and Hussaini took 3rd at Sperry (don't know if they wrestled in Semis or not). Never seen Early so I don't know about him.

Agree best pound for pound. #1 NEWTON #2Waltman. These two could probably go up several weights and still win in div.I

I saw Stephens wrestle last year, wasnt to bad..from what I hear is that hes gotten a lot better this year and is now one of the top ones at 37 to beat..I guess he is in Open now? Ive seen a lot of 2nd year Novice that could give em a challange..37s are the most fun to watch

Newton is the best I have seen in DIV 1, the kid is a man child.

I think you all forgot that Hill beat Stephens at catoosa and one first place.

well, I havent seen any of these guys wrestle at 37, but by the way that points board looks, Miller looks like the one to beat..

Ive seen a lot of wrestling in the last 5 weeks and there are many talented 37 pounders, it will be fun to see how it turns out for those who will go to JOC
